    Anonymous first-party funnel measurement

We measure visits to our commercial comparison pages, eligible CTA impressions, affiliate-link clicks, important internal navigation, and CTA dismissals. This helps us understand which pages and placements are useful.

    What the first-party system stores

Events can include the page path, CTA and placement labels, offer or brand, displayed rank, destination host and landing path, referring host, UTM campaign fields, broad device class, and two-letter country code. Affiliate destination query strings and full referring URLs are not stored.

    Temporary sessions

An anonymous session ID is stored in your browser’s sessionStorage. It rotates after 30 minutes of inactivity and is not designed to identify you across sessions. We do not collect raw IP addresses, email addresses, full user-agent strings, or device fingerprints in this system.

    Retention and access

Detailed anonymous events are retained for 13 months. Daily aggregate counts are kept permanently so we can compare long-term site performance. Detailed analytics are visible only to an allow-listed owner account.

    Other analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights for broader traffic and performance measurement. Those services process data under their own privacy terms. We do not use session replay or the previous unused analytics integrations.

    Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you purchase after following one, at no additional cost to you. Our first-party click records do not by themselves show whether a purchase occurred.
